This Mt Albert Café is located on a corner site of an existing Motel. This new structure needed to sit comfortably alongside the 70's brick and vertical weatherboard Motel while being fresh and modern at the same time.
Renovation of a traditional 1920's villa to suit the lifestyle of a modern family. Clever use of space makes this house feel bigger than its footing, while opening it up to the outdoors transformed this villa into a light and fresh home.
This development of a large corner site in Ponsonby called for an industrial edgy vibe to create a complex that houses a produce market, eateries, function room and retail spaces.
Reclaimed materials both from the original building and sourced elsewhere were used alongside raw concrete and steel to transform this old warehouse into what it is today.
A grand old Ponsonby Villa needed some remodelling to bring her into the 21st century. A large central lightwell and sliding doors to the rear of the property ensured the house was bright and sunny and created the perfect entertainers haven. The addition of an upstairs floor with master bedroom and ensuite completed the renovation and capitalised on the brilliant views of the city skyline.
